Thankfully, we live in a world in which progress continues to be possible, there is always room for improvement. As much as we would love to send you to exclusively vegan destinations, that wouldn’t really offer you much opportunity in the way of travel, yet. That being said, it’s important to do what you can, when you can, without limiting your experiences and the chance to advocate for the vegan lifestyle.

In addition to acknowledging our partners sustainability initiatives, we have implemented a vegan–friendly rating system to identify and educate our suppliers based on five key elements. Sometimes we have to strike the balance between location and Conscious rating, respecting local culture whilst minimising a compromise of individual moral code. Of course, our favoured suppliers are the ones that score five leaves as it demonstrates that our values perfectly align. However, if they’re not quite there yet but you still want to stay, we’ll happily send them a request, along with some vegan pillows to ensure you have a comfortable stay!

We are committed to sharing our profits to have a truly global impact and we are passionate about supporting local communities, people and animals in the areas that we visit. We recognise the hard work and commitment that compassionate individuals around the world dedicate to help make the lives of animals better.

As much as we love to roll up our sleeves and get involved whilst making new human and animal friends when we travel, we understand that sometimes the most impactful help we can provide is financial. This is why we not only donate 1% of Conscious Luxury Travel profits but as a travel company, it makes much more sense to donate 1% to each continent so that we may preserve the wonderful wildlife species that we are so lucky to share this world with, as well as support our hardworking friends at local farm animal sanctuaries. We distribute our 7% profit donation across 7 continents and equally share each continents 1% between a carefully selected animal sanctuary and a wildlife cause relevant to its specific geographical location.

We believe that our investments remain transparent and we work closely with each of our chosen sanctuaries which have been carefully selected so that you are invited to visit yourself, and we sincerely hope you do, to witness the fantastic work that is being done with your donation through us.
